About

I’m Mark Duffy, a commercial photographer specialising in product, beverage, beauty, and brand campaigns, creating imagery for advertising, digital platforms, and product launches.

With a background in graphic design, I bring a strong understanding of visual communication and how imagery functions within wider brand systems from campaign and layout design through to digital and print execution. This design-led approach informs how I plan, light, and compose each shoot, with a focus on creating work that performs across multiple platforms.

I work with brands and agencies to produce consistent, high-impact visual content across full campaign sets, with a particular focus on product storytelling, studio lighting, and refined visual presentation.

My work spans whiskey and beverage campaigns, beauty and skincare brands, and commercial product photography. Alongside this, I’ve built an audience of close to 120,000 followers across social platforms, giving me direct insight into how visual content performs in real digital environments and informing my approach to social-first brand content.

My background in graphic design shaped how I think about imagery as part of wider visual systems. This evolved naturally into photography, where I now combine both disciplines to create cohesive, commercially driven visual narratives for brands.

Photography book by Mark Duffy entitled Louth Rediscovered, released in 2018 is a concise collection of the heritage site Co. Louth Ireland

In 2018, I published my first photography book, Louth Rediscovered, a project that showcased the heritage and landscape of the region through a carefully curated body of work. The book marked a pivotal moment in my career, leading to increased recognition and opening the door to collaborations with organisations such as Fáilte Ireland.
